A warm and friendly welcome is waiting for you at Eleven Westgate bed and breakfast in Pickering. It's an elegant Victorian family home, retaining many of its original features, which have been carefully restored to provide light airy rooms with a cosy homely feel. The deceptively large house has quality furnished rooms, all en-suite, offering loads of home comforts including home made cakes and hand made biscuits to have with a great cup of Yorkshire tea!
Eleven Westgate B&B is situated in the historic market town of Pickering, in the heart of beautiful Ryedale, home of the renowned North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway and the gateway to the North York Moors National Park.
We are ideally situated as a base for exploring loads of nearby places and attractions by cycle, foot, train or bus. Places to see or visit include the Steam Railway, National Park, Dalby Forest, the beautiful east coast towns of Whitby, Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington. The historic city of York is only just over half an hour away.
As a family, we all cycle, so a kit room and drying facilities for wet walking and biking gear is available. In addition we also run mountain biking and road cycling holidays (www.gonemountainbiking.com) and Mike is a guide, instructor and cycle mechanic. There are also secure bike lock up facilities, workshop, tools and bike wash area. To find out more about MTB / cycling holidays with guided rides or skills sessions, call us on 01751 475111.
Our UK based call centre staff (that would be Amanda & Mike!) are on hand to answer any questions you might have and will help you to plan and enjoy your stay, making sure you're as relaxed and comfortable as possible during your time with us.
